Trims and Powertrain
Honda issues the 2026 Ridgeline in four trim packages: Sport, RTL, TrailSport, and Black Edition. A 3.5-liter V6 engine (280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque) forms the powertrain with a 9-speed automatic transmission with shift-by-wire and paddle shifters. The Sport, RTL, and Black Edition return an EPA-estimated 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway; the TrailSport matches the other trims’ city mileage but drops to 23 mpg on the highway. The entire lineup comes with Honda’s Intelligent Variable Torque Management all-wheel drivetrain (AWD), Eco Assist System, and an Intelligent Traction Management selector with Normal, Mud, Sand, and Snow settings. MacPherson front struts and a multilink rear suspension with stabilizer bars are standard (with off-road tuning on the TrailSport). The Ridgeline stands with 7.64 inches of ground clearance atop a unibody platform. The sole configuration pairs a four-door crew cab with a 64-inch bed. An integrated Class III trailer hitch with a 7-pin harness is standard, and the towing limit is 5,000 pounds.
