Trims and Powertrain
The trio of trim levels for the ‘26 HR-V consists of the LX, Sport, and EX-L. All of them have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (158 horsepower) paired with a continuously variable transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, but Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System is available on every trim. The HR-V’s EPA-estimated fuel economy reaches 26 mpg city/32 mpg highway with FWD and 25 mpg city/30 mpg highway with AWD. The standard drive mode selector has settings for Normal, Econ, and Snow, for adaptable performance on different surfaces. Hill descent control and hill start assist are also included for added stability on steep inclines.
