Trims and Mechanical Details

The three trim packages for the 2025 Prologue are the EX, Touring, and Elite. As mentioned, the front motor is more robust this model year, yielding an 8-hp increase in the FWD version and a 12-hp boost in the AWD version. All trims have an 85-kWh battery pack, yielding 308 miles of range with FWD and 294 miles with AWD. Charging is quick, with the Prologue’s battery accumulating 62 to 65 miles of range for every 10 minutes that it’s plugged in to a Level 3/DC fast charger. At this rate, it gets juiced from 20% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes. Every trim is able to tow as much as 1,500 pounds.

Standard Equipment by Trim Level

The EX is nicely equipped with the likes of remote start (key fob-activated), two zones of automatic climate control, a wireless device charge pad, heated exterior mirrors, heated front seats, a power-adjustable (ten ways) driver’s seat, push-button start, rain-sensing windshield wipers, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, LED exterior lighting with auto-on/off headlamps. It also has cloth upholstery, rear privacy glass, a regenerative braking control paddle, two USB ports per row, and 19-inch wheels. The Touring adds leather seats, a panoramic moonroof, driver’s-side memory, a six-way power front passenger seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a hands-free power tailgate, LED fog lights, and rooftop rails. The Elite is loaded, getting a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, a head-up display, a heated windshield-wiper zone, power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, a key card for keyless vehicle access, expanded interior lighting, self-sealing tires, and a 110-volt outlet in the rear console.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

Honda Sensing, a suite of the latest safety technologies, is installed in every 2025 Prologue. Those technologies consist of adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, forward collision alert, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, reverse automatic braking, traffic sign recognition (requires data package), and rear parking assist. The Touring and Elite also get front parking sensors, but only the Elite has a surround-view monitor and rear pedestrian alert. A rearview monitor, a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, and stability control are found on all three trims.

Staying Informed and Connected

An 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment array brings together the multimedia features in the ’25 Prologue. It’s based on Google built-in, with direct access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and other commonly used apps. As mentioned above, wireless smartphone connection (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) comes standard, along with Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and HondaLink connected services. A basic audio system with six speakers provides the sound in the EX, while the Touring and Elite move up to a first-rate Bose unit with a dozen speakers.
