The three 2025 HR-V trim levels are the LX, Sport, and EX-L. A four-cylinder engine making 158 horsepower pairs with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to form the powertrain. Front-wheel drive is standard, but Real-Time AWD is available for added traction and control. Every trim comes with a drive mode selector with settings for Econ, Snow, and Normal. With front-wheel drive, the 2025 HR-V returns 26 around town and 32 mpg on the highway, which dips slightly to 25 city/30 highway with AWD.
In the LX, you’ll get cloth upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, remote entry, automatic air conditioning, three USB ports, a 12-volt outlet (cargo area), and a 60/40-split rear seat. It also has full LED lighting (automatic headlights, turn signals, daytime running lights, and brake lights), power side-view mirrors, a body-colored rear roofline spoiler, and 17-inch silver alloy wheels. The Sport ramps up the style factor with a gloss-black rear roofline spoiler, a sport grille, a chrome exhaust finisher, and 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels. For added convenience and comfort, this mid-grade trim has remote engine start, heated front seats, rear privacy glass, and heated power side mirrors with integrated turn-signal indicators.
The EX-L builds on the LX’s equipment list with an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, leather upholstery, rear privacy glass, wireless device charging, the one-touch power moonroof with tilt feature, remote start, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 17-inch gloss Shark Gray machine-finished alloy wheels. Both the Sport and EX-L also include the Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock system, which automatically locks the doors once the key fob is outside of an 8-foot range.
The advanced Honda Sensing suite of driver-assist technologies is installed in every HR-V, adding automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, forward collision warning, a rearview camera, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high-beam headlights. The Sport adds blind-spot warning and cross-traffic monitoring, while the EX-L gets low-speed brake control and parking sensors (front and rear).
The LX has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth, HondaLink app compatibility, and a four-speaker stereo system. The Sport gets the same features with an additional pair of speakers. The EX-L is upgraded with a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
