The 2025 Honda Civic Si is presented simply, with a single equipment package and a limited list of optional accessories. The spirited four-door is propelled by a powertrain that unites a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (output: 200 hp and 192 lb.-ft. of torque) with a rare find in today’s automotive market: the aforementioned six-speed manual gearbox with rev-matching. To allow the driver some customization according to the situation at hand, Honda includes a drive mode selector with settings called Normal, Sport, and Individual. A front-wheel-drivetrain keeps the Civic Si from overconsuming fuel, with the EPA estimating gas mileage of 27 mpg in city driving and 37 mpg on the highway.
The 2025 Civic Si is about performance, but with plenty of amenities to keep its occupants comfortable and connected. This includes the heated front sport-style seats mentioned in the intro, along with proximity keyless entry, auto on/off LED headlights, LED taillights and daytime running lights, single-zone automatic climate control, two USB-C data ports (front row), a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 10.2-inch digital driver interface, push-button ignition, and a 60/40-split rear seatback with a center armrest. For looks and function, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, heated exterior mirrors (also gloss-black), sport pedals, a moonroof, twin chrome exhaust finishers, red interior accents, and 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels. In addition to opting for summer performance tires at an additional cost, buyers can order extras such as gloss-black badging, spoilers, and illuminated door sills.
Performance-focused cars tend to go lighter on the safety tech, but Honda nevertheless equips the Civic Si notably well with the Honda Sensing suite. Its components are adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. It gets a rearview monitor as well, which shows views from multiple angles and uses dynamic guidelines to make backing up easier and safer.
The Civic Si’s Google-based infotainment array is centered in a 9-inch touchscreen. Besides it’s the expected namesake features (Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play Store) it has Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, wireless smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) SiriusXM satellite radio, and HD Radio. A prime-quality Bose audio system provides crystal-clear sound through 12 speakers.
