The 2025 Civic Sedan Hybrid is available in two trims: Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring. Their two-motor hybrid powerplant produces a total output of 200 hp, making it the most powerful Civic ever created (save the high-performance Type R variant). A continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drivetrain round out the big picture mechanically. As mentioned, fuel economy is at the top of the Civic Sedan Hybrid’s list of attractions: it supplies an EPA-estimated 50 mpg in the city and 47 mpg on the highway. It also has regenerative braking, which converts kinetic energy from braking into incremental electric power that’s added to the battery.
The Sport Hybrid supplies comfort with remote start, heated front seats, a moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Its convenience features include proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a 7-inch driver information display, a drive mode selector (settings: Econ, Normal, and Sport), two front-console USB-C data ports, a rear-seat center armrest with beverage holders, automatic LED headlights and daytime running lights, heated power-adjustable side mirrors with black caps, variable intermittent windshield wipers, and a front passenger seatback pocket. The trim also features some athletic touches, with sport pedals and a chrome-tipped exhaust.
The Sport Touring raises the luxury factor with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats, wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a sunglasses holder, side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and an additional drive mode called Individual, which allows the driver to customize for performance. See the sections that follow for details on safety and multimedia upgrades for this trim level.
The Honda Sensing suite of active driving aids comes standard in the ‘25 Civic Sedan Hybrid, providing forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. The Sport Touring also receives rear cross-traffic alert, low-speed braking control, and front and rear parking sensors.
The Sport Hybrid is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a 180-watt eight-speaker audio system. Choose the Sport Touring and you’ll get an upgraded 9-inch touchscreen with Google built-in (Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store), navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and HD Radio.
