Trims, Powertrain, and Fuel Efficiency

Honda presents the ’25 Accord Hybrid in four trim packages: Sport, Sport-L, EX-L, and Touring. Their gas-electric system combines a conventional 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors, which together produce 204 horses. Power is fed through an electronic continuously variable transmission (eCVT) to the front-wheel drivetrain. With most trims, the EPA-estimated fuel return is 46 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway, but the EX-L is the shining star, achieving 51 mpg city/44 mpg highway.

Amenities by Trim

The Sport may be the entry-level choice, but it’s replete with pleasing features like heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, proximity keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, dual-zone automatic climate control, a moonroof, push-button start, a 60/40-split rear seatback with a folding center armrest and cupholders, sport pedals, automatic LED headlights, and gloss-black exterior accents. The Sport-L grows in appeal with leather upholstery, position memory for the driver’s seat, a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and a rear diffuser.

While the EX-L lacks the sport pedals and most of the gloss-black elements, it gains genuine leather upholstery, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators. The Touring represents the pinnacle of this model, with ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and side mirrors with passenger reverse gear tilt-down.

Driver-Assistive Technology

The 2025 Accord Hybrid comes with Honda’s proprietary safety suite, Honda Sensing, in every trim. This safety-enhancing bundle consists of forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. The EX-L and Touring both get parking sensors, but only the Touring has low-speed braking control.

Connectivity and Entertainment

Most trims are equipped with the same infotainment system: a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hotspot, an eight-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth hands-free connectivity. Meanwhile, the Touring receives a Google built-in interface with Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play Store, along with HD Radio and a fine-quality 12-speaker Bose audio system.

Other notable tech items included across all ’25 Accord Hybrid trims include wireless phone charging, a 10.2-inch driver information display, and four USB-C ports (two in each row).
