The 2024 Civic Si’s lively performance comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine generating 200 hp and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. In contrast to the regular Civic, which features a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the Si is made only with a much more engaging close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox. Its fuel economy is commendable, with the EPA estimating a return of 27 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway.
The Civic Si takes heavy inspiration from the traditional Civic’s upscale Touring trim, meaning it gets some high-end standard equipment. It starts with sporty attributes such as lightweight race-inspired front seats, 18-inch matte-black wheels, a corner-carving limited-slip differential, dual chrome exhaust finishers, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, sport pedals, and red interior contrast stitching. But there are convenience features as well, like automatic-on/off LED headlights, heated side mirrors, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, and a 60/40-split folding rear seatback with a folding center armrest and cupholders. Also standard are a moonroof, automatic climate control, and a soft leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
The ’24 Civic Si is also a haven for technology, boasting a compelling infotainment system with a customizable 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a seven-speaker audio system. Honda’s cutting-edge CabinControl system is included as well, allowing occupants to control various vehicle functions directly from their smartphones.
The 2024 Civic Si comes with a stable of helpful driver-assist technologies courtesy of the Honda Sensing suite. Those features are forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. On top of that, the Civic Si has a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic gridlines to help you back out of spaces with added confidence.
