Honda offers two trim packages for the non-hybrid 2024 Accord: LX and EX. Their turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine makes 192 horsepower and uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to manage its front-wheel drivetrain. The EPA has officially estimated the car’s fuel economy at 29 mpg around town and 37 mpg on the open road.
The Accord LX comes with proximity keyless entry, automatic climate control (single zone), LED exterior lighting with auto on/off headlights, push-button start, power side mirrors, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, a 10.2-inch customizable instrument cluster, a self-opening trunk, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Its seating situation includes fabric upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, and a fold-down rear seat. The EX is upgraded with a power moonroof, heated front seats, a second automatic climate control zone, a ten-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated power side mirrors, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat.
The 2024 Accord comes standard with Honda Sensing, a comprehensive driver-assist technology suite consisting of forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, and a driver attention monitor. Blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert is added to the EX. The car’s supplemental safety equipment includes multiple airbags, anti-lock brakes, vehicle stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and a multi-angle rearview monitor with dynamic guidelines.
Both Accord trims have a 7-inch color touchscreen infotainment system. Its components are smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth, a text messaging assistant, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and HondaLink remote services. For audio, the LX gets a four-speaker 160-watt system, while the EX moves up to an eight-speaker 180-watt unit. Dual front-row USB ports come standard.
