2021 Honda Ridgeline for Sale in North Attleboro, MA
The Honda Ridgeline has been a valued member of the midsized pickup truck family since 2005. Unlike your traditional pickup truck, though, the Ridgeline has a unibody construction as opposed to the body-on-frame style of the typical truck. That gives it a more carlike ride that most people prefer – yet it’s still rugged, practical, and able to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
The 2021 model year starts the Ridgeline’s fourth generation with an updated look featuring a new front-end hood with a more pronounced power bulge, new front fenders that complement the squared-off nose and more upright grille, and a new crossbar that sits above the grille. Also new are the front bumper and side vents, which increase the truck’s aerodynamics. A prominent skid plate adds more ruggedness to this update. In the rear, the bumper is mounted higher than before and has a new look as well as a debuting dual exhaust. All trims also get chunky all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels with a fresh look.
The interior has a high-end feel and an abundance of legroom. The rear seat also splits three ways and folds up to accommodate oversized and oddly sized items; for example, a bicycle can easily fit in this space, keeping it more secure than if it were in the truck bed or on a rack. The infotainment system has been improved, too, with better graphics and a more intuitive touchscreen layout; a physical volume knob is now standard as well. Most trims gain new dash, steering wheel, and center console accents.
Trims and Engineering
The 2021 Ridgeline is available in Sport, RTL, RTL-E, and Black Edition trim levels. The powertrain is made up of a 280 hp (262 lb.-ft. of torque) V6 engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive is standard. No matter which trim you choose, the ’21 Ridgeline can tow up to 5,000 pounds and returns an EPA-estimated 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The Ridgeline boasts a best-in-class standard 1,580 lb. payload capacity.
The Sport comes with automatic LED headlights, LED fog lights and taillights, a dual-action tailgate that opens down and sideways, an in-bed trunk, dual exhaust finishers, eight heavy-duty truck bed tie-down cleats, rear privacy glass, a Class III trailer hitch with a 7-pin connector, remote entry and start, push-button ignition, front and center console 12-volt power outlets, USB ports, tri-zone automatic climate control, a HomeLink remote system, a 60/40 split lift-up rear seat with underfloor storage, and a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.
The RTL gains heated side mirrors with memory, a moonroof, a power-sliding rear window, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory, a power-adjustable front passenger’s seat, leather upholstery, and heated front seats. The RTL-E gets an upgraded keyless entry system, LED truck bed lights, front and rear parking sensors, a truck-bed power outlet, a heated steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, a conversation mirror with a sunglasses holder, and blue ambient interior lighting. The Black Edition adds a unique Crystal Black Pearl paint scheme, gloss-black exterior moldings that complement the black chrome accents, exclusive gloss-black 18-inch wheels, and red ambient interior lighting.
A new optional Honda Performance Development (HPD) Package has been added as part of this redesign. It builds on the aggressive look with a unique grille, black fender flares, eye-catching bronze-colored wheels, and HPD graphics on the bed walls.
Safety and Technology
Each trim gets the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assist technologies. This includes collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. The RTL adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and the RTL-E and Black Edition get automatic high beams.
The Sport has an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming capability, SMS text-messaging, and a 7-speaker audio system. The RTL adds satellite radio, while the RTL-E and Black Edition get HD radio, navigation, a premium eight-speaker sound system with a subwoofer, and a truck-bed audio system.
